Norstar Ladies win the 2015 London Championship
Norstar won their best of 5 Championship Series with a thrilling 2 - 1 overtime win taking the series 3 games to 1.
The Series Stars were 1. Katie Turner 2. Brittany Mulligan 3. Steph Giannopoulos
Game Stars were: 1. Steph Giannopoulos 2. Katie Turner 3. Holly Scott
Norstar trailed 1 - 0 after the first period. With 10:36 left in the game Steph Giannopoulos scored on a wrap around set up by Brittany Mulligan and Katie Turner.
Then with 3:03 left in overtime Steph Giannopoulos netted her second of the game assisted by Katie Turner and Courtney Simpson. Norstar goalie Holly Scott stopped 20 of 21 shots.
The Ladies now move onto the Provincial Championships in Belleville August 7, 8, 9, 2015.
